Culebra Exchange is where the reptile world buys and sells. The beta is live: animals from vetted breeders and brokers, real photos, gene search and a wanted board. Buyers message sellers and arrange payment and shipping directly. Escrow checkout launches end of October.

Launching end of October: your payment is held until the animal arrives alive and as described. During beta, buyer and seller arrange payment directly.
Vetted sellers
Breeder, broker and vendor badges are applied for and reviewed by hand: husbandry history, references, licensing. The directory shows who you're dealing with.
Search like a breeder
Filter by gene, het and possible het, sex, price and region on Browse. Share any search as a link.
Deal directly
Message the seller and agree on payment, shipping and live-arrival terms together. Built-in shipping labels arrive in December.
How checkout will work, starting end of October
During beta, buyer and seller arrange the sale and payment directly. Culebra doesn't hold the money on these deals yet.
1 · Pick
Find the animal on Browse. A free account saves your likes and follows to your dashboard.
2 · Pay into escrow
Your payment is held by the Exchange. The seller sees a funded order.
3 · Ship
The seller ships the animal. During beta, you and the seller agree on the carrier and terms.
4 · Arrive and release
The animal arrives alive and as described, and the payment goes to the seller. If there's a problem, the money is still held.

Every seller gets a storefront that syncs with their own website every 6 hours, so sold animals come off on their own. View counts and seller analytics included.

Venomous, done right
Venomous listings are certification-gated. Sellers verify the buyer can legally receive the animal before anything changes hands.
