Community Guidelines
The Exchange is a marketplace for serious keepers. These rules protect animals, buyers, and breeders. Violations can lead to listing removal, storefront suspension, or account closure.
Honest listings
Photos, genetics, age, sex, health, and shipping origin must be accurate. No bait pricing, no undisclosed defects, no recycled sold photos.
Legal animals only
Do not list animals you cannot legally sell or ship to the buyer’s jurisdiction. Venomous and restricted species require certification and fail closed at checkout.
Animal welfare
Animals must be healthy enough to ship. Overcrowding, starvation, or cruelty in media or husbandry notes is grounds for immediate removal.
No scams or payment pressure
During beta, buyers and sellers arrange payment directly. Be honest about the animal, never demand untraceable payment (gift cards, crypto, wire to a stranger), and buyers should use a method with buyer protection. Scams get storefronts removed.
Respect
No harassment, hate, or doxxing in storefronts, reviews, or waitlist notes. Report abuse — don’t escalate it.
Report problems
Use the report form (no account needed), the Report link on any listing or storefront, or email safety@culebraexchange.com. False reports may themselves be actioned.
