Anacondas
The heaviest snakes in the world. For experienced keepers with a plan.

What you're taking on
Green anacondas grow very large and heavy and need deep water as well as land. Yellow anacondas stay smaller but are just as committed to water. Neither is a first large constrictor.
- Captive-bred, eating reliably, and handled from a young age.
- Skin free of blisters and retained shed, a common water-keeping problem.
- Your state's rules — several, including Florida, prohibit them.
Clear this before you offer

Certification gates contact on venomous listings, and sellers verify the buyer can legally receive the animal. The permit on your wall is your responsibility. When in doubt, call your state wildlife agency before you place a deposit.
